With 30 years of experience under her belt as a hospital administrator and business consultant, Sharon has teamed up with healthcare enterprises to upgrade levels of patient service and care quality, while boosting financial performance – to advance medical care in the populations served.

Accomplishments

Sharon served as Senior Manager for Ernst & Young’s Healthcare Consulting practice, where she directed academic medical centers, healthcare systems and hospitals in strategically streamlining processes, implementing information technologies and revising organizational structures to improve patient care services. Her financial acumen helped institutions improve their bottom lines and achieve operational efficiencies.

As the Director of Patient Care Information Services at a premier academic medical center, Sharon developed and implemented compelling information services strategic plans. She oversaw a computer-based patient record initiative to support on-line access to patients' medical records, which reduced reliance on paper medical records by 20%.

Sharon served as a Project Manager/Analyst at a Fortune 500 chemical company, directing an international material safety data sheet project as well as a materials control project that improved material and transportation management and service quality.

As the Director of Correct Me If I'm Wrong, a marketing communications and business consulting firm, Sharon helps public and private organizations of all sizes and at all life stages promote their products and services internationally.

Sharon’s volunteer work as the Treasurer of a non-profit turned around an organization performing with substantial annual losses to an efficient institution with multi-year financial gains.

Sharon studied in the U.S., earning her BA from Ithaca College and her MBA from Drexel University.
