Yoav, who holds a Master's degree from Harvard University, is a leading expert in executing large-scale infrastructure projects and structural reforms of national importance.

Accomplishments

Yoav’s top-class know-how was put to work during his 15 years of service in the Israeli government. In particular, following six years as Chief Development Officer at Israel Ports Company (IPC), Yoav has highly sought-after expertise in sea port development.

During his tenure at IPC, Yoav earned a reputation for overcoming logistics risks and bureaucratic obstacles with creative solutions and sound science. Among his achievements, Yoav was responsible for successfully realizing master plans for private terminals at two of Israel’s major seaports. Carefully coordinating complex plans and regulations, he turned vision into reality, with a significant boost to Israel’s import and export capability expected. Yoav was also a driving force behind fundamental structural reform at IPC; following 2004 legislation, he helped transform the governmental monopoly into a competitive landlord model.

Yoav has also served as an advisor to Israel’s Minister of Transport, promoting the privatization of national transportation organizations. His knowledge, planning skills and big picture thinking, as well as his teamwork have been tapped to consultant to Israel’s Ministry of Tourism.

In recognition of Yoav’s accomplishments, Israel’s leading financial publication singled out Yoav as one of Israel’s most promising young executives.

The Wexner Foundation awarded Yoav a full scholarship to Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
